not much issues while using photoshop, premiere pro hasn’t had many issues but then again I am not working on 60fps 4k footage. For editing 1080p clips and lower it does the job well enough but for encoding it will most likely take longer than my tower but its not a 3000$ gaming laptop either.Battery life, I’d say 6-7 hours or more with regular use and low brightness.Screen quality in comparison to my S7 tablet which has a ridiculous screen is decent. The colors are alright but won’t pop or anything. It does the job but if you need a better screen maybe opt for a macbook as the M1 chips are really good.Touch screen in comparison to my S7 tablet, I’d say the S7 is as smooth and as close as you can get to normal handwriting with its far superior screen glass, pen and screen refresh rate. I have used both for photoshop while testing out the pen in making masks. Using the S7 for masking in PS was a smoother experience HOWEVER using the asus pen and screen was still very usable. The responsiveness is a bit more sluggish in comparison to the tablet and the harder tip of the Asus pen makes for a more abbrasive experience but I for one don’t really see it hindering my life. This is why Im selling my S7 as the benefits from the better pen and screen are vastly outweighed by the fact that the Vivobook is an actual PC and its still good. Overall, having the touch screen makes masking and anything needing some semblance of accuracy 100x easier than using a mouse (in pic that took me 10 min while a mouse would have taken me 45+). Im sure Wacom tablets are amazing but if you’re trying to simplify your life this will do. Also if you’re using a monitor, the vivobook just becomes one gigantic wacom anyways (just not as accurate or sensitive).RAM Upgrade: Yes you can do it, its super easy to do as it took me 15 minutes. Unscrewing and screwing the casing was the longest part. I bought 16gb 3200mhz card off amazon and it gave me 20gb total which is more than futureproof.Build quality:I come from using an old zenbook from 2012, one of the first models and this is 1000% better quality. the keybed barely has any bend. The mouse pad is much more solid as well and more responsive but not Apple level. Only pain in the a55 is that the directional arrows are pushed a bit inward due to the Fn key at the bottom right which takes some getting used to. The only thing my old zenbook had better was that the screen was matte but then again it was not touch.Overall this is a solid laptop and Id assume the touch responsiveness may and can be improved with future firmware updates but so far not much to complain about. If you can find this on sale or 100$ off there is really no laptop that comes close performance and price wise.Been also using it with Xboxs cloud gaming so flipping it into tablet pretty much gives me a 14in TV. It can also play FIFA 22 at decently high settings so thats another bonus.

I just bought this computer with the i5 11th generation processor and 12 GB of RAM. I was aiming for an i7 / 16 GB but there was a 200 dollars difference between both and I settled for this on a Black Friday special a little below the 700 dollars mark. After using it for 3 weeks and upgrading to Windows 11, I have sufficient evidence to give you my pros and cons along with my final verdict:Pros:- Zippy in spite of the lower processor power and RAM initially sought. I have not had an instance where I have felt that the laptop needed additional power. Note: i am not a gamer, so I have used Photoshop, illustrator, Music and movies, and Office. I have kept several windows open and it kept going with no issues.- Screen. Never had an OLED before and I was blown away by the vivid colors and contrast. I even had a 4K laptop before and it is not even comparable to this one. Big points for Asus Vivobook here.- Beautiful design. It is very lightbut it does not feel flimsy at all. You need to be careful with it though as it can easily get damaged but if you are careful, it will stand out with the dark gray color, and its shape.- With the 512 GB SSD, it turns on and wakes up really fast. This is normal for this kind of hard drive.- Keys are properly spaced and easy to type in. The keyboard is lighted.CONS:- Ports are not remarkable. The USB-C cannot charge, it is only for data transmission.- It has 2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 ports. Not a good combination.- The back cover cannot be easily disassembled to upgrade its memory.- Battery life is subpar. No more than 4 hours even with the powersaving mode on.- No touch screen.VERDICT: For the price, I am happy with the purchase. I think that the OLED screen is the feature that makes it stand out above the rest on that price range.I just scored it with 4 stars for the ports configuration and lack of functionality.

スピーカーは、harman/kardonで十分な音質です。

You get what you pay for… this computer works very well, except for the touchpad, it is far too sensitive and behaves herky jerky most of the time but for something to stream music with, its pretty good.

ASUS on their website clearly says this model has a backlit keyboard. This item doesn’t even have a hotkey marked for this function. I know it is a very entry level monitor, but what laptop comes without a illuminated keyboard?

The Vivobook S 14 OLED offers a ridiculous set of features for its price. With a 12th-gen Intel processor, 16GB RAM, lightning fast PCIe storage and a gorgeous display, the laptop really seems to sit in a league of it’s own when it comes to the £500-700 laptop bracket. The design is understated and well built, with some obvious nods to Apple’s recently refreshed lineup of Macbooks – the thin bezels, minimalist silver body and large touchpad. I wish they didn’t include the obnoxious harmon/kardon branding underneath the keyboard, and I’m not a fan of the orange escape key, but overall it’s a nice looking machine. The display is absolutely gorgeous, and is what ultimately drew me towards the Vivobook in the first place. It’s 2.8k resolution, 90hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness make it stand out even against laptops worth considerably more, including the M2 Macbook Air. It’s a pleasure to watch movies, browse the internet and even play some lighter games. Colours are vibrant and blacks are deep, and the 90hz refresh rate makes the whole laptop feel buttery smooth. It features a decent I/O configuration as well. On the right side, we find 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports (very nice), a HDMI port, a single USB 3 port and the headphone jack. On the right, a single USB 2 port, which is appreciated, but I would’ve loved to swap this with one of the Thunderbolt 4 ports to allow me to charge from both sides. The combination of the i5-12500h and 16GB of 3200mhz means that this is a laptop capable of more than just web browsing. I use Ableton Live 11, and one of the main reasons for purchasing a laptop in the first place was to allow me to take my music with me to the studio or on long journeys, so a capable, powerful laptop was essential. The Vivobook does brilliant in this regard, handling multiple tracks with numerous plugins all at once without slowing down too much. Of course, compared to more powerful desktop pc’s and other higher end laptops, it struggles with larger projects, but for throwing down ideas and editing existing projects, the Vivobook is great. I tried playing a few titles from my Steam library as well, and, whilst you certainly won’t be doing any heavy gaming due to it’s discrete graphics, the laptop handled smaller titles well and was enjoyable to play. In fact, the display is so beautiful that I sacrificed higher frame rates for higher settings in some titles just to experience that OLED panel. However, all these components need powering at the end of the day, and this is where, in my opinion, the weakest factor of the Vivobook lies – battery life. With a full charge, I was only able to make it to 8pm with light use throughout the day before the battery reached 10%, and this didn’t include any heavy-load programs like Ableton or games. To be fair, the incldued charger does charge relatively quickly, but I would definitely suggest taking it with you if you expect to be out the house for more than a few hours. It’s to be expected in a laptop of such a low profile with mid-high end specs, but it’s still frustrating to be constantly watching the battery icon as soon as you turn the brightness up or open a few different windows at once.Overall though, this is definitely a laptop I would recommend, especially if you’re particular to a good display. It really is that beautiful, and is usually only found on laptops far more pricey. It’s got a clicky and satisfying keyboard, a big, responsive touchpad, and a display that makes even the most mundane tasks enjoyable. The battery life isn’t the best, but as long as you don’t mind carrying your charger in your bag, this isn’t too big of an issue. A sleek, fast laptop that you should seriously consider.

Was slightly disappointed with the build quality maybe I was expecting too much for this price. However I recently purchased a Lenovo with the same spec and same price (can’t find the same model anywhere otherwise I would have bought another) and it is perfect.Pro’sGreat quality 1080 screen.Looks good with the funky design on the lid.Con’sLid/screen is very flimsy.Sharp edges on lid. Screen bezel seems to be larger than the lid leaving sharp edges protruding past the side of the lid. Feels like it will pull of the screen bezel if you aren’t careful.Quality control is poor.Trackpad makes that annoyingly cheap clunk even with the lightest of touches.Wouldn’t break any speed records. (I expected that for the spec)Overall it’s just OK for the price and once I installed Linux Mint it felt fast.

The specs are great, no issues at all. The laptop is super fast and manages a big load, it is light and the screen is just amazing! Colours are very rich and it is nice to look at. The battery is a lower side unfortunately but doable (lasts around 4 hours of full use I think, but haven’t tested it that well yet). The keyboard is fabulous, touchpad as well. Speakers are of poorer quality so I use headphones for meetings to hear well. Camera cover that is fitted in is useful so you don’t need to stick anything on it. It scans finger print for a qucik sign in and has new useful ports. No problems with overheating even on flat surface. Overall, I am super pleased with this laptop that I hope will last long.

had it delivered yesterday evening, quick review/observations:- the screen is vibrant, the colours pop – but contrast felt a bit too much and I think there is too much red. It’s possible I’m just not used to an OLED screen on a laptop and I’m slowly adjusting. I played a few 4k movies this morning and I’m really liking it now!- the laptop doesn’t feel super cheap but doesn’t feel premium either, it’s..Ok- the laptop felt slow compared to my older quad core Dell. Maybe because everything wanted to update and it is running Vista..cough cough sorry Windows 11. Also the fans were triggering fairly often, not very loud but not quiet either.I updated to the latest Bios, made a wind recovery disk, wiped the HDD and installed Ubuntu. I had to plug in my USB-C thunderbolt docking station (with a usb keyboard) as it didn’t have laptop keyboard drivers at start. After installing the OS and running updates – the laptop keyboard works fine. With Vista(wind 11) gone and Ubuntu on it, the laptop is snappy and the fans barely kick in.- speakers aren’t very loud, but are ok- I played some Darkest Dungeon last night, no problems. With an OLED screen you really appreciate the darker colours- the battery will last about 4h- warranty is only about 10 months for some reason, mine expires in November for some reasonFor the money and after the tweaks, I’m really happy with the machine. I was looking at Dell XPS, but that would have been £200+ more, a worse screen but better build quality. Since I’ll use this for studying and a lot of youtube&twitch – the screen is important. My main suggestion for everyone using windows would be to (if you have the skills), update Bios, make a windows recovery disk and re-install.I have no idea what ASUS did or added to their build image but the machine felt slow compared to my older Dell (quad core). Well that is running a fresh install of Windows 10, while this is running the “new Vista” + some bloatware…

I wanted thin and light and a fairly good sized screen and a keyboard with a number pad for spread sheets. (love that keyboard back light too)I use only external hard drives for everything, it also has an SD card slot!usb C slot and hdmi built in as well as the 2 regular usbs.it streams video/youtube just great, sound card is good.NOT a machine for gamers!Speed often depends on your wifi speed. There is no reason to whine about this machine, just know what it has to offer… for the money! This windows version is just fine to work with if you’re used to windows.

I bought this laptop for use mainly away from home. It is lightweight with good screen quality and comfortable keyboard. I would caution anyone shopping for this ASUS laptop on Amazon that there are different models with different processors and changing prices. I accidentally ended up purchasing a different model than what I had on my Wish List. I am still happy with the model I purchased.I am receiving a 90 ASUS warranty extension for writing this review.

I’ve only been using the laptop for about a week so far but it’s been everything I was looking for in a student laptop! It’s fast, light and portable. It’s literally like 3lbs! The battery life lasts roughly 7-8 hours unplugged and only takes a few hours to fully charge, which is fine for me since I only use it for about 4 hours out of the day. The screen is okay, not the best for streaming but would suffice if you’re bored enough. The keys aren’t backlit which would be a problem for some, but I own a PC and usually use my laptop during the day so it isn’t an issue for me. The touchpad feels nice, it’s not annoyingly sensitive or hard to use and I find the Touch ID super interesting and convenient! Overall 4/5 and would recommend for any student looking for a laptop on a budget! Also if you’re able too, I would recommend looking into ordering a laptop sleeve. It fits nice and conveniently into my backpack laptop compartment, but I would feel more secure knowing it’s in a protective sleeve.

So far, everything has worked swimmingly. It’s perfect for what I need: light computer work, web browsing, youtube videos, google docs/excel, etc. It’s very lightweight and compact. It has 3 USB ports, 2 older versions and 1 newer version – this is tremendously helpful. It’s surprisingly fast compared to the other laptop I bought at the same price range. The mousepad calculator keypad is inventive and actually kind of useful. It powers on/off quite quickly. Software updates are quite fast. Screen and volume control are fantastic – I can finally watch Netflix on my laptop if I want.Cons: The left SHIFT button is half the size that I’m used to and there is now a separate backslash key which I always accidentally press, though I’m sure in time I will get used to this. Lastly, I wish the keyboard had backlighting for easier typing during nighttime, but it’s not a dealbreaker.Originally, I was going to buy an ASUS Zenbook but it was much more expensive than I could afford, but honestly, I really like this Vivobook and think it’s perfect for me. Overall, 9/10! ASUS laptops have always served me well (no surprise as ASUS is a Taiwanese company, which is where I believe most microchips like INTEL are made).

The Asus X415 comes in a few variants. This one is the 8gb version upgradable to 16gb total (perhaps 12gb usable while the rest goes to graphics? And works in dual channel mode), no touchscreen, but has an extra SDD HDD bay for even more space if needed. The screen is passable if not a bit warm, but viewing angles are great. Battery life is not good– 2-3 hours of video or office work, but it also charges full in 1.5 hours. So not that big of a deal. Annoying big sticker near the trackpad is annoying, but oh well.Perfect for office work, writing, and lite Photoshop work. Can extend to TV easily with HDMI. Want to game, it can do that too, but you didn’t buy this laptop for the FPS. It’s just nice that you could play Stardew Valley in your downtime if you wanted to. :)The reviews here often refer many different models and configurations, so make sure that you check to see which version you’re getting. The one I bought is awesome.

I bought this laptop to take to my part-time job. It was not expensive so I didn’t expect much. I have now used it for 8 months and I am very impressed with this entry level laptop. It is faster than I expected and does the job. I would not recommend it for anyone who plays very cpu extensive games but for day-to-day browsing, and moderate use it performs very well.

After watching some YouTube reviews, I had a pretty good image of what to expect from this laptop, so I decided to make the investment since the manufacturer advertised it to be designed and made for creators. Well, silly me now, because the laptop wasn’t exactly as expected. Here are a few of my cons and pros after using this laptop:First of all, the powerful knob for creators. Designed on paper to be a great tool for creators and advertised as the pride of this laptop, when in reality it has limited functionality, poor performance, and is not quite a solid build quality. The rotation is smooth, but not precise, and I don’t see myself using the dial.- The ram. Not soldered, and that is actually a big pro! For creators, 16GB is definitely not enough RAM, but with two memory slots on the motherboard, there is enough room for a RAM upgrade. However, the laptop comes with only one stick of 16GB RAM installed, so basically, is fast like an ostrich that runs on one leg. Right out of the box, the laptop needs an upgrade in order to be useful for creators and with 64Gb now, the gaming experience, rendering, and editing videos worked at high-resolution without any lag or issues.- The Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi 6 card was another disappointing story of this laptop. Sadly, most manufacturers don’t share the full technical specifications, and Asus is no exception.Featuring an old and outdated Intel aw201D2W, the laptop struggles to keep a stable and fast connection and is highly unlikely to upgrade to a new Wi-Fi card generation because it’s soldered on the motherboard. If you have issues with signal or drop connection like it happened to me, just uninstall the BT and wifi drivers and make a fresh install after restart.- The 3070ti and performance. The graphic card it’s a beast and works as a 3070ti should, but the software makes the difference. There are two official drivers on the NVidia website. One driver is optimised for gaming and the other for studio performance. As expected, the 3070ti still suffers from software limitations. And because it’s a trend now to push the users for a new upgrade every year, soon enough we are going to have a laptop that makes spaghetti and flies to the moon and back too.- The trackpad deception and the amazingly 3 buttons design. The trackpad is literally a cheap quality with average performance and feel. Personally, I find the buttons to be very uncomfortable to use and poorly designed.- The keyboard is not bad or great, and that would translate into an average typing experience.- The build quality is pretty good, but when compared with my partner’s Zephyrus G14 2021 and many other laptops, this studiobook doesn’t seem to have the same premium quality. And lastly, the finish it’s a dust and fingerprint mangnet. and I need to mention the presence of the annoying noise that comes from the coil whine. The cooling and the thermals are pretty good. Plenty of ports, and I like the ProArt logo on the lid, but also the 4k display and the fast SD card slot on this laptop. These final features are good enough for creators and fully matched the description. All in all, I really like the idea of buying and using a dedicated laptop for creators, but for almost £2000, the performance and the quality of this studiobook 16 OLED are not above 3.8 stars.Overall, and despite my cons, this laptop is still a good choice to pick up for productivity, video editing and gaming in mid-2023 and even 2024.

ASUS VivoBook 14 X415 Thin and Light Laptop, 14” FHD Display, Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4 Processor, Intel UHD Graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home, X415EA-AS31-CAI bought this laptop for surfing and basic streaming (spotify and movies) and doc/spreadsheet editing and occasional webex/zoom conf calling. No gaming. Thats the purpose. This is absolutely the perfect cost effective laptop for you. It’s NOT sluggish at all. i3 later gen processors really packs a punch. I have ZERO issues running these types of things simultaneously with chrome browser opened with several tabs. The screen is sharp and vibrant. They keyboard is OK — i mean not perfect but the spacing and tactile feel is acceptable. Wifi connectivity seems reliable. Camera is sharp and in low light there is a tiny LED that shines when you cast the camera which is effective. Comes with windows 11 preinstalled. This laptop has one USBC port , plus three SS USB-A ports (thats pretty good). An HDMI out. And a 3 pole audio mic-headphone integrated miniplug. Generally runs WHISPER quiet. No touch screen but thats expected for this pricepoint. This laptop also has a fingerprint sensor. Actually is fabulous. Works lightning fast. I appreciate having it actually. Here are a few things that leave me wanting more though…1. audio speakers is pretty pathetic… lacks any sort of presence and everything sounds hollow. Just use headphones2. Mic is also “meh” ..it works OK…. but i prefer my own mic that is integrated with my headphones.3. Keyboard has no backlight. Nor is there any sort of LED light for the dark (like lenovo).4. 128GB NVME is a bit lacking. I recommend buying an SSD and giving yourself more space.5. 8GB ram is OK but you CAN upgrade one more SODIMM….. With chrome 5 tabs open, spotify and whatsapp app running, i’m at already around 80% ram usage. So go for it, while youre in there upgrading SSD, throw in a cheap 25$ SODIMM for more ram (you might as well!!) Thre is no access port to install RAM/ssd. You need to youtube and learn how to open the laptop and install it. the SSD does require a special SSD sata adapter with a ribbon connector (easily found in amazon) and it will run you around 25$.6. When i’m typing, i do find my palms accidentally causing input to the touchpad. This COULD be annoying but touchpad can be disabled if you opt to use external mouse.Overall i’m very pleased with this deal. I managed to find it for 350$ openbox. It does the job.

A bit of a track pad wobble. Which I diy fixed with a YouTube video. Other than that great sound, screen, typing experience. 8 cores and a entry level gpu is all i needed.Black is a fingerprint magnet if you care about that. Nice slim charging brick. Light enough to hold one handed. Some fan control restrictions, only could select from low mid high. Not much tinkering you can do.

The laptop is overall a very good laptop for office use. Had a couple games installed as well but one of them crashes every time after one mission, so not recommended for any new age gaming. The only real complaint is the RAM. I thought 8GB would be enough however 1 user logged in will eat up 80-90% just for starting up and using Office 365. The information I got was the ram is upgradable to 12GB max, so only 4 GB extra can be added to it, and it is hard to find a 4GB ram chip by itself, which is needed if you don’t want to sign out of your user account so someone else or you can sign into another.

This is a brilliant laptop, the screen is fantastic, keyboard is nice, touchpad very very good, smooth and accurate. The style of this laptop is lovely, it’s compact, thin, reasonably light but also feels solid and of good quality.I bought because my old i7 based laptop that is used for light gaming but mainly photo and video editing was looking like it’s mainboard was starting to fail. So I found this, the Ryzen R9 CPU is amazing, making even 4k video editing a doddle, I was a little concerned about only having 16gb of memory, but it showed no performance issues due to that. Photo editing, even a few thousand images, fast to import, quick loading times and fast export. I have to say that I was smitten with it, connected up to a 32″ 4k monitor it was doing a very good job of running Starfield. Also coming with atrial of a load of the Adobe software was nice, both photoshop and premiere were handled with aplomb.Unfortunately, I appear to be a very unlucky customer and mine has failed, completely. After 4 days it just wouldn’t turn on, no lights, no sign of life, nothing. tried everything I know to make sure it wasn’t something simple. But unfortunately, today it’s been dropped into the post for a refund. I would still be tempted to replace with another.*Edit: With a quick efficient response from MESH I have decided to replace and my new one should be with me tomorrow. Excellent service.

First let me tell you what I dislike about this computer. That is the mouse pad. It is Either too sensitive or does not respond to your finger movement at all.I find myself having to tap hard several times on the mouse pad to get it to respond. I plan on installing a wireless mouse to remedy the situation. I do like everything else about this computer. It is faster than I expected. The screen is bright and is very good too. I like the speakers as well. The sound is very good.

Forse solo i bordi.

I have used a Chromebook for years and was shocked by how unbelievably slow this laptop was. A full 2 minutes to reboot and almost every page says “wait”. I am returning it. It took me overall, a few hours to get set up. I feel like it was used and there is bloatware on it somewhere. On the plus side, it seems well built and solid and the typing keyboard experience is excellent. No backlit keys which is a downside. The display is nothing special and in fact, even on the brightest setting I find my eyes straining on it. The contrast is not great.

I wanted this laptop just to bring to the gym and watch youtube. The performance is SO BAD, and I mean, bad at levels not known to men, that it’s basically useless.I dare you to try use touch screen to type, for example, IF you are lucky and the keyboard pops up, the keyboard is straight out of antiquity.Try to get out of S mode and install another web browser. it’s as if Microsoft punishes you for doing it with crashes everywhere. you click on windown icon and NOTHING happens… apps open and it’s just a white screen. This laptop should not be legal. Save more money and buy a real laptop.

I made this purchase 6 months ago, and I am pleased. There is just one issue on this device, that neither Amazon or Asus could help me with. This laptop is sooooo! great, and multifaceted. One day, the backlit keyboard stopped working. I am one of those people who snuggles with their laptop and surf before going to bed; so the led keyboard is a necessity. When it occurred I was not ready for it and I chose not to make a a fuss. Why? Because this malfunction, could be a fault of the carrier. When the package is mishandled, or handled ruffly and dropped at the door instead of placed at the destinations door. For example: the arrows on the box often see with the phrase (Handle with Care) instructing the carrier to place, carry, and load this box right side up or this side up. Some people ignore these simple instructions because they have their own concept of what is okay, I guess. These actions do have an affect on electronic devices. Overall, this laptop is a keeper, but not for beginners. The touchscreen flows smoothly with good response, 360 hinge, compact, light weight, a fair amount of ports. Perfect for any artist, and still working great. Share this review and I do recommend this laptop.

This is a solid laptop for the price. One thing I highly recommend is adding a stick of ram. Tee laptop comes with 1 open ram slot so I added a 32 GB stick and it went from almost unusable to a great daily driver. With the stock of 4 GB ram, it was a chore to run even one program at a time. Adding a $40 stick of ram changed all that and I can run multiple programs with no problems now.The touchscreen is nice and responsive and works well with a smart pen (purchased separately). Battery life has been fine. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. In its stock state, I would not recommend this laptop. If you plan on adding more ram then it’s a hell of a deal. Here is the ram I went with (DDR4 32GB Single 3200MHz PC4-25600 CL22 Unbuffered Non-ECC 1.2V SODIMM 260-Pin):https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089W78CVJ

After setting everything up and installing all the updates, I have to say I am very pleased with the laptop. It does everything you need for work or just browsing the internet and watching movies. The 120Hz Oled screen is gorgeous and quite bright as well.Keyboard is nice and it types well on it, the only thing bothering me a bit is the fact that there is no numpad. When the fans are running at a very low speed it is almost completely silent and not noticable at all. Overall, a great everyday laptop with an outstanding Oled display.

Also ähnlich wie Apple Care, jedoch deutlich preiswerter. Windows-Updates, also relativ laut.
